Poster Competition Guidelines
We encourage PhD students and other early-career researchers to take part in our Poster Competition. Participants have to prepare a poster on a topic related to bilevel optimization, as described in the themes of the conference. During a special Poster Session, each delegate taking part in the competition will be given a 5 minutes time slot to present their poster in front of a panel. The winners will be announced during the closing of the conference. We will award £500, £300, and £200, kindly sponsored by one of our partners, to the top three Poster Presentations.
Guidelines of the Poster Competition:
-
To take part in the competition, you will need to submit an abstract and register for the conference. You will receive a notification of acceptance or refusal.
-
Posters must not exceed a certain size that will be communicated as soon as possible.
-
Participants have to bring their printed posters. We have no capacities to do the printing during the conference. However, we will provide poster boards.
-
Poster presentations are scheduled to last at most 5 minutes, with some additional time reserved for discussion and questions.
-
There are no other events scheduled in parallel to the Poster Session so that all participants of the conference are able to visit the posters.
-
In return, participants of the poster presentation should be willing to present their research throughout the whole Poster Session.
